CALEXICO EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION
Mission
A non-profit organization formed in 1989 by Calexico citizens and governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees. Board members are professionals and business leaders with a commitment to Calexico public schools. They have an active interest in the educational advancement of students, employees and citizens of our community. The Foundation operates entirely independent of, but in cooperation with, the Calexico Unified School District Board of Education.
PURPOSE
The Foundation is created to enhance the educational excellence of Calexico schools. It will provide funds beyond the normal operating budget for students. Foundation funds will be used to facilitate student academic and skill development, recognize and encourage employee excellence, and expand community involvement through individuals, business and civic organizations.
